Your luggage has a warranty that covers manufacturing defects in terms of workmanship and materials. Our warranty does not cover repairs resulting from carrier damage, misuse or neglect of the product, normal wear‐and‐tear, or repairs outwith the warranty period.
The authorized repair centre will make a judgment on whether or not the damage is due to a manufacturing defect. If there is a manufacturing defect, the centre will repair your luggage and bill DAARD directly.
If it is not repairable they will order a replacement case for you. If they judge the problem not to be a manufacturing defect, they will contact you with an estimate before making any repairs to your luggage.
To access the warranty service, please take or ship your product to one of our authorized repair centres. If there is no repair facility nearby, you may ship the luggage to DAARD – via Trieste 26/A – 36065 – Mussolente, Italy.
The Authorized Repair Centre will make the final judgment on the status of the product. The possible outcomes are as follows:
‐ If the product is repairable and is covered under the warranty, the product will be repaired at Daard’s expense and returned to you.
‐ If the product is not repairable but is covered under the warranty, and if the same product is in stock, a replacement product will be sent directly to you.
– If the product is unavailable, an equivalent item will be sent. In the event that an equivalent product is unavailable, a letter will be sent authorizing you to select a comparable product from the daard.com site.
‐ If the product is repairable but is not covered under the warranty, you may either have the product returned to you un‐repaired, or have the product repaired at your own expense.
‐ If the product is not repairable and is not covered under the warranty, you may request that the Authorized Repair Centre send the product back to you un‐repaired, or you may request that the Authorized Repair Centre dispose of the product.
Certain replacement parts are available for purchase, with a small shipping charge. These include: Wheels; Keys; Padlocks for Softside Luggage; ID Tags; and Detachable Shoulder Straps.
